BOCA RATON, Fla. (July 30, 2026) – The Research Park at Florida Atlantic celebrates a powerful economic legacy, reporting $610 million dollars in annual economic impact across Palm Beach and Broward counties for the year 2025, highlighting the critical role of the Park’s presence across the region as an economic driver.
The analysis found that companies located in the Park in 2025 generated $445 million in direct expenditures, which in-turn produced an additional $165 million in indirect economic activity across the regional economy.
The Research Park at Florida Atlantic isn’t just office space: it is a hub where academia and business come together to accelerate innovation. In this unique ecosystem, companies have access to researchers, faculty, students, and other university resources, creating a collaborative environment that transforms research discoveries into real-world solutions.
The economic driver is home to over 49 companies, ranging from innovative second-stage companies located in the Park’s incubator, Global Ventures, to industry-leading giants. Industries include aviation, AI, healthcare, medical and life sciences, software, cybersecurity, and more.
As a major employment hub, ventures in the Park supported 1,505 jobs and produced $174 million in labor earnings, with an average annual salary of $115,768, reflecting the high-value, knowledge-based careers fostered within the Park.
