Lynn University has once again been ranked by Times Higher Education (THE) for its continued commitment to the United Nations Sustainable Development Goals (SDGs). This year, THE’s 2024 International Impact Rankings assessed 1,963 higher education institutions measuring four key indicators: research, stewardship, outreach and teaching.

“The ongoing commitment of our university to the SDGs underscores the transformative power of education and collaboration,” said Dr. Antonella Regueiro, director for Lynn’s Social Impact Lab. “Our advancements in this year’s rankings reflect the hard work and dedication of our community. We are not only setting ambitious goals but also achieving them, demonstrating that our efforts in sustainability are both impactful and measurable.”

This year’s rankings assessed universities based on 17 SDGs using data collected during the 2021–22 academic year, a period still impacted by the pandemic. Lynn improved in both its overall score and specific SDG categories, despite increased competition with approximately 400 more institutions participating this year.

In its third year of inclusion, Lynn’s overall score in the SDGs assessment increased by approximately 16%. This notable advancement reflects the university’s continuous efforts to enhance its impact and reach, even as the higher education landscape becomes more competitive.
