On June 28, the Florida Department of Education (FLDOE) released scores for the Spring 2022 Florida Standards Assessment (FSA) English Language Arts (ELA) for students in grades 4-10, FSA Mathematics for grades 3-8, and End of Course (EOC) assessments for Algebra 1 and Geometry.
This year’s scores show that performance has improved, particularly in Mathematics, Algebra 1, and Geometry. The results also show that the District met or exceeded State performance on each of the following assessments: English Language Arts for all grade levels, Mathematics grades 3, 6, and 8, as well as Algebra 1 and Geometry.
An Executive Summary offers a detailed look at how District students performed as compared to the State and other large urban school districts. The Summary also includes a listing of individual school results.
District and school leaders will continue to analyze the data provided by the State to develop improvement plans for the 2022-2023 school year.
