The Herbert Wertheim UF Scripps Institute for Biomedical Innovation & Technology Graduate Program

  • A partnership between the University of Florida and the Skaggs Graduate School of Chemical and Biological Sciences at Scripps Research in La Jolla, California.
  • Ranked ninth in the nation in biological sciences, second in the nation in organic chemistry, fourth in biochemistry and seventh in chemistry in 2024.
  • Students pursue PhDs in disciplines like molecular biology, biochemistry, and neuroscience, with access to Scripps Research's Nobel laureates and UF’s vast resources, including HiPerGator, one of the world's fastest supercomputers.
